|The notion ‘event’ can be widely interpreted. Within our security jargon, by using the term event we refer to more or less large happenings that may possibly attract risks due to their nature and content. In these cases, the client, host or organizer could delegate the responsibility of effective security to Interseco. Our core expertise is organizing proportional measures and coordinating their implementation.
After having received information on the nature and purpose of the event, we will start our activities. As a first step, we make a security plan that is based on a realistic assessment of the vulnerabilities of the event. After discussing the plan with the client, we will take responsibility for further interpretation and preparation of the measures to be taken. These measures range from organizing the command and communication structure to first aid and evacuation measures, from security of important people to entrance control, from a calamity plan to the liaison with government and support services. All aspects of security are dealt with and are applied if the risk profile of the event requires so.
Our expertise about the security of events (and your guests) does not stop at the national borders. For a growing number of clients we coordinate the security of their international event. A good example is the security of the ABN-AMRO Pavilion, board members, management and guests during the Volvo Ocean Race a couple of years ago. From Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro till Portsmouth and Rotterdam.
