Specialist investigators seek partnerships under Securitas umbrella
Specialist partners are increasingly working together to provide international clients at home and abroad with comprehensive security services.
Optimum solution for each country
Interseco consultants, investigators and security specialists are increasingly required to operate at an international level. In such cases, it is very important to make use of reliable local partners, says Gert-Jan Schol, one of the Directors at Interseco. ‘These are people who know the local situation and legislation, have the right local contacts, and so on. Being able to make use of reliable partners saves a lot of time. A guaranteed quality of people and services wherever they are; guaranteed accessibility: these kinds of criteria make the difference.’
Network proves to be useful
This addresses the needs of clients, particularly international companies. As far as security and security management is concerned, these companies require support from reliable partners that offer a tailor-made quality product. This applies in particular to short-term projects. Schol: ‘In these kinds of situations you need to be able to make a rapid response. This is when a network proves so useful.’
European network
Seven Securitas Europe agencies recently met in The Hague to discuss working practises. This was a follow up to an earlier meeting in Warsaw. Schol: ‘You need to know one another well and know which services each has to offer. Good working agreements are also important, both in terms of specialist knowledge and practical issues such as assigning responsibilities and setting up project organisations. These kinds of things all need to be properly discussed beforehand.’ According to Schol, the aim of the international Securitas network is to implement the best solution for each country. According to Schol, the advantage of being part of a bigger whole (Securitas) has been proven several times. ‘We often sit around the table with companies with whom contact would otherwise have been more difficult to make.’

Different market profile
Schol is convinced that this development will eventually provide Interseco with a different market profile. ‘Independent specialists that reinforce one another and can provide clients with the support they require at that time. More and more organisations are choosing to have a standard security system in place and to then make use of specialists whenever required: for advice, investigative work and to supply reliable personnel. It is all about flexibility based on a guaranteed level of quality. Interseco can provide this, together with our international partners within Securitas.’
International Interseco network
Specialist security and investigation agencies work together within the European network. All these partners are part of Securitas Europe and are in a position to help clients in Europe as well as other areas in the world. In addition to Interseco, these partners are:
• Securitas AB
• Seccredo AB (Stockholm)
• SIA “Seccredo” (Riga)
• Seccredo Polska (Warsaw)
• Pinkerton England (London)
• Protectas Switzerland (Lausanne)
• Optimit Belgium (Brussels)
